5 things qrx.ee can do (that most URL shorteners can't)

When we first wrote about qrx.ee, it was still a fairly simple link-shortening tool. In just days, quite a bit has been added - some of it things we haven't seen in any other URL shortener, including the big international ones.

1. One-click SEO audit

Paste any page URL, and qrx.ee checks 11 common SEO signals at once - title length, meta description, image alt text, Open Graph tags, mobile viewport support, and more. Each check comes with a specific, actionable note, not just a pass/fail flag. You get an overall 0-100 score showing you where the biggest gaps are.

2. A QR code that actually scans

When you can pick your own brand color for a QR code, it's easy to accidentally choose a combination that a phone camera can't read. qrx.ee calculates the contrast ratio live, as you pick the color - so you find out before printing 500 flyers, not after.

3. Whole-account analytics on one page

Not just stats for a single link - a trend across all your links, your top performers, a weekday pattern (does your audience click more on weekdays?), and combined country/browser/referrer breakdowns, all on one page.

4. Bots won't skew your numbers anymore

When you share a link on social media, the platform itself (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) fetches the link to generate a preview - that technically counts as a click, even though no human ever saw it. qrx.ee detects these automatically, using two different methods, and keeps them out of your stats.

5. Link "superpowers"

Scheduled links that activate or expire on their own. Device-based redirects (iPhone → App Store, Android → Play Store, same link). Password-protected links. A/B testing between two destinations. All without writing a line of code.

Try it yourself

You can try all of the above right now, no card required: qrx.ee. And if you share this post yourself - do it with a qrx.ee short link. That's exactly what it's built for.
